INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY COUNSELING
I work with tweens, teens and adults experiencing anxiety, school and job stress, life transitions or conflict with friendships or family relationships. I offer a collaborative and nonjudgmental space to help individuals identify their strengths and values and increase self-awareness. Together, we navigate life’s challenges and develop a deeper understanding of self.
We all want to feel validated, connected and heard. For teens and adults of all ages, I create a safe, trusting and adaptable space for your own journey of curiosity, learning and development of skills you may be lacking from your family dynamic, your childhood or even from the pandemic.
I have a background working in schools and understand school related anxiety, learning challenges, ADHD, executive dysfunction and emotional distress. I coach parents on ways to strengthen their connection with and understanding of their children. Together we will discuss personalized intervention strategies and concentrate on the "whole child."

COLLABORATIVE SCHOOL BASED COUNSELING
If you are interested in having sessions delivered at your child´s school, here is the process outlined:
1. Parents attend an initial assessment and during this session, sign a form authorizing me to contact the school counselor, teacher and/or administrators.
2. I contact the school counselor and ask permission to use the school building to deliver services, as well as what are the best times to schedule sessions (usually during lunch and recess). This is the first point of collaboration as I conduct a small assessment regarding your child's strengths and challenges while at school.
3. Your child attends an initial session in the office acompanied by, at least, one parent. Each consecutive individual session occurs at the school and after each session, I will contact you, through your choice of phone call or email, for a 10 minute follow-up (this service is included in the session fee).
4. We will schedule bi-weekly or monthly meetings in the office, for either, parenting sessions, family sessions or reports of progress.
